Hi, I’m Nayeli! I was born and raised in Reno, NV and I am planning to major in General Business at the University of Nevada Reno. My decision to attend college came from being a first-generation student and having a big desire to provide for my family the way they have for me. I have lots of experience that has created a diverse skill set. I was the Battalion Commander for my JROTC program in high school which has given me leadership and communication skills. I managed large groups and complex projects while also being a Cheerleader and a part of the National Honors Society. When I’m not doing schoolwork, I like to go to the gym, dance, and play with my dogs! I love having alone time to relax and work on other solo projects. My ultimate goal is to become a successful business owner; I want to partner with my dad to open and market our own construction company! I plan to take all the technical and strategic knowledge I am gaining in college and apply it to our family’s future ventures.
